REliance
"Reliance" is a painting that depicts Brothers' vision for the Peak of Reliance, the legalistic mountaintop society that listeners first hear about in Season One, Episode Four. Known for its strict obedience to the Book of Guidance, Reliance has endured for generations. The people of Reliance are sustained by the land and the farming on top of the peak. With a strong central government, led by the High Priest, the people are dependent upon his wisdom and recollection of the Great Book.
