Chris is a Professor of Theatre Arts at Liberty University. He is a professional actor and director as well. In Spring 2015, Chris began work on this project with a group of fifteen writers. Since then, he has had the pleasure of building the world that is now known as The Encounter.

Kornel has taught production courses at Liberty University since 2007. He has recorded and edited music recitals and concerts for Liberty's School of Music, single and multi-camera productions. He is also an iNRB member and faculty advisor for The Light radio station. He has a passion for teaching and incorporates new technology in his courses along with his sound technician experience.

Chris has over 10 years experience in radio, interviewing personalities like The Forrester Sisters, Eddy Raven and Gene Watson. He has a background in sports play-by-play announcing and radio management. He has been recognized by the Ohio Newspaper Association for excellence in community service reporting during his eight years in journalism. Additionally, Chris has spent seven years in media relations and served as the national communications manager for the Scleroderma Foundation from 2005 to 2006.
